Show notes

Daniel DeBaun is an internationally recognized expert in EMF radiation, EMF shielding, and EMF-related health issues with special focus on the effect of exposure from mobile devices such as laptops, tablets, and cell phones. DeBaun’s concern regarding the health impact of EMF emissions grew from over thirty years of engineering experience in the telecommunication industry, where he held a variety of executive positions at SAIC, Telcordia, AT&T, and Bell Labs. He is the co-author of Radiation Nation: The Fallout of Modern Technology.

Daniel’s journey with EMF (electromagnetic frequency) radiation began when his wife questioned the safety of laptops sitting in the laps of their sons for hours on end.  Daniel did research and found that in fact, his wife had valid concerns. Defender Shield was born when Daniel built the first laptop shields for his sons.

In this episode, Daniel shares how EMF radiation didn’t exist 15 years ago. Daniel begins with sharing the thermal impacts made on our bodies, cell danger response (CDR), and shares the other side effects we may experience as a result of exposure to EMF.

Daniel shares practical ways to limit your exposure:

  • Turn your transmitters off
  • Place your cell phone 4 foot away when necessary, use speakerphone, non-Bluetooth headphones
  • Move your alarm clock 4 foot away from your bed
  • Place your cell phone out of the room or 4 foot away when you are sleeping
