Project Description


– 1 cup ketchup
– 1/2 cup applesauce
– 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
– 3/4 cup chicken stock
– 1 small onion diced
– 2 cloves garlic diced
– 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
– 1/4 cup molasses
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1 tsp dry mustard
– Pinch of salt and pepper


Heat a medium-sized pot over medium-high heat.  Place all ingredients in the pot and bring to a slight boil.  Reduce to simmer and cook for 45 minutes until thick.  At this point, you can serve or puree it for a smoother texture.  I prefer to puree.  This will last in the refrigerator for 2 weeks or, you can freeze for future dishes like BBQ, ribs, or chicken.  Enjoy!
