Sometimes eating healthy can get boring but it certainly doesn’t have to! One of my favorite things to do is make a quick and delicious salad. I love that the possibilities are endless and making small changes can really take this meal up a notch!
In this video, I take some time to show you how to add different textures, layers, and colors to your salad to make it fun and interesting!
Basic Steps to building a fun and interesting salad:
Layer 1: Greens–> Kale, romaine lettuce and/or spinach
Layer 2: Proteins–> Garbanzo beans, chicken, roasted or fresh veggies
Layer 3: the toppings–>Raisins, roasted nuts, or hemp seeds
