Slow cooker Buffalo Chicken (Whole30)


1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken thighs

3/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce

1⁄3 cup ghee

2 Tbsp. coconut aminos

1 1⁄2 tsp. garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp onion powder


In a small microwave safe bowl, melt ghee. Next, add all other ingredients except chicken and whisk to combine. Place chicken in slow cooker. Pour sauce over chicken. Cook for 4-6 hours on low or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred. Return shredded chicken to slow cooker and toss with sauce. Turn slow cooker to warm until ready to serve. Serve over salad, spaghetti squash,  sweet potato, russet potato, or roasted cauliflower. Tessemae’s Ranch dressing pairs perfectly on top!
