Chocolate Stuffed Dates


15 dates, pit removed and cut to open

1/4 cup pure maple syrup
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons coconut shortening
1/4 cup almond butter
Sea salt
Toasted pecans, chopped


In a high speed blender, add maple syrup, cocoa powder, coconut shortening, almond butter. Combine on high until whipped consistency. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of filling into each date and sprinkle with salt and pecans.
